All India GIC OBC Employees Federation:Thiru.Thiruchy Siva, MP Unveiled the portrait of Thiru.K.Senthamilselvam, Sr.DM, UIIC.

Thiru.K.Senthamilselvan, Sr.D.M, United India Insurance Company passed away on 12.01.2016. He was the one of the founder leader of OBC Association in Insurance Sector.At the time of Mandal era 1993 the GIC brahminical forces shut the door for OBC recruitment fraudulently. He filed a suit against the GIC Management as individual capacity and got success by getting 600 OBC posts all over India. He is one the pioneer in forming the All India Confederation of OBC Employees Welfare Associations. He is yet to retire this month but because of severe heart attack he passed away.He is the follower of Periyar EVR, as a strong rationalist his final journey was performed without any rituals and only with raising slogans.

His portrait was unveiled by Thiru. Thiruchy Siva, MP (Rajya Sabha) on 21.01.2016 at Chennai. Large numbers of members and leaders from various OBC organisations gathered and paid their tributes to the Senior leader with emotion. The OCF (Ordnance Clothing Factory), Avadi, Chennai Celeberated their Annual Day and conducted Annual GB at their Factory campus Avadi. Shri Shanthakumar, President presided over the function. The Chennai Division 1 & 2 LIC OBC Employees Welfare Association conducted All India LIC OBC Employees Silver Jubilee Conference, Conference on Save Reservation and Unity of the Oppressed at Chennai on 20.12.2015.
Shri.S.K.Kharventhan, Member, NCBC, Thiru.K.Veeramani, President, Dravidar Kazhagam and Shri.Thol.Thirumaavalavan, Ex MP, Founder President of Viduthalai Siruthaigal Katchi graced the conference. Delegates of LIC from all over India present and large numbers of members belongs to OBC Empoyees associations of Central Govt and PSUs attended the conference.The LIC association made arrangements elaborately for the success of the conference

Parliamentary Committee on Welfare of OBCs Study Tour 5th November 2015

The Parliamentary Committee on Welfare of OBCs visited Chennai on 05.11.2015 under the Chairmanship of Shri.Rajen Gohain at Hotel Connemara, Chennai.
The affilliates of OBC Confederation Port Trust, JIPMER, BSNL, CLRTI, Income Tax, Postal , Atomic Energy(DAE) participated in the meeting.Shri.K.Danasekar, General Secretary explained the demands before the MPs present.
