Thiru.K.Senthamilselvan, Sr.D.M, United India Insurance Company passed away on 12.01.2016. He was the one of the founder leader of OBC Association in Insurance Sector.At the time of Mandal era 1993 the GIC brahminical forces shut the door for OBC recruitment fraudulently. He filed a suit against the GIC Management as individual capacity and got success by getting 600 OBC posts all over India. He is one the pioneer in forming the All India Confederation of OBC Employees Welfare Associations. He is yet to retire this month but because of severe heart attack he passed away.He is the follower of Periyar EVR, as a strong rationalist his final journey was performed without any rituals and only with raising slogans.
His portrait was unveiled by Thiru. Thiruchy Siva, MP (Rajya Sabha) on 21.01.2016 at Chennai. Large numbers of members and leaders from various OBC organisations gathered and paid their tributes to the Senior leader with emotion. The programm was organised by All India GIC OBC Employees Federation
